Hot Honey Tenders with Mac and Cheese

Directions

  1. 1Cut the chicken breast into tenders.
  2. 2Marinate chicken in buttermilk, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
  3. 3Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  4. 4Mix in buttermilk, one egg and onion powder in another bowl.
  5. 5Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then buttermilk mixture, then flour mixture again.
  6. 6Fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown.
  7. 7Brush hot honey on fried chicken tenders.
  8. 8Melt butter in a pan, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  9. 9Add flour to butter and garlic mixture, whisk well.
  10. 10Add cream cheese, black pepper and salt and whisk until melted.
  11. 11Stir in milk and bring to a simmer.
  12. 12Add macaroni and cheddar cheese, and stir until melted.
  13. 13Pour macaroni and cheese into a baking pan, and top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  14. 14Sprinkle paprika on top.
  15. 15Bake mac and cheese until golden brown and bubbly.
  16. 16Serve mac and cheese with hot honey tenders.

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb macaroni
  • 1 tbsp parsley
