High Protein Creamy Garlic Pepper Steak

Directions

  1. 1Slice your steaks into strips.
  2. 2Season the steak strips with salt, black pepper, garlic, paprika, chili flakes, and olive oil.
  3. 3Mix the seasoned steak until well combined.
  4. 4In a hot pan, add light butter.
  5. 5Cook the beef for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. 6Lower the heat.
  7. 7Add low-fat milk, light cream cheese, parmesan, more salt, pepper, and garlic.
  8. 8Mix until smooth.
  9. 9Add a big handful of spinach.
  10. 10Let the sauce simmer and thicken.
  11. 11Serve equally with seasoned hot rice.

  • 1200 g Raw Topside Beef cut into thin strips
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 tsp Paprika
  • 2.25 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 3 tsp Olive Oil
  • 37.5 g Light Butter (for Cooking)
  • 420 ml Skimmed/Low Fat Milk
  • 225 g Light Cream Cheese (Brand: Philadelphia Lightest)
  • 270 g Light Cream Cheese (Brand: Philadelphia Lightest)
  • 60 g Grated Parmesan
  • Extra Salt
  • Extra Black Pepper
  • Extra Garlic Powder
  • Big Handful Spinach
  • 810 g Cooked White Rice
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Salt
  • Chilli Flakes

Tips

  • Cut the steaks into thin strips, to allow the beef to stay tender when cooking
  • Marinate for 30mins or more for better flavour!
  • Cook on high heat for 5-6 mins to allow a golden brown colour for more flavour
  • Make sure you lower the heat before adding the milk and the rest of the ingredients
  • Mix everything till melted and smooth then add spinach
  • Let this simmer and thicken for 5-8 mins
