Deviled Egg Musubi

Directions

  1. 1Boil six eggs and peel them.
  2. 2Cut the spam with a spam slicer.
  3. 3Cut the boiled eggs in half.
  4. 4Cut the spam pieces to an egg shape and brush them with Hawaiian barbecue sauce.
  5. 5Separate the yolks and put them in a bowl.
  6. 6Add Japanese mayo, mustard, garlic powder, and furikake to the yolks.
  7. 7Mash the yolks and mix them with the ingredients in the bowl.
  8. 8Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  9. 9Sprinkle furikake on top of the yolk mixture.
  10. 10Place the egg-shaped spam on top of the yolk mixture.
  11. 11Cut the roasted seaweed into strips and wrap them around the deviled eggs.

  • 3 tbsp Japanese mayo
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp furikake
  • Nori sheets
