Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Heat the oven to 400°F and line the pan.
  2. 2Spread peppers and onions on the pan and roast for 10 minutes.
  3. 3Add frozen meatballs, top with marinara, and roast 15 to 20 minutes until hot and bubbling.
  4. 4Lay cheese on top for the last 2 minutes to melt.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole frozen, fully cooked meatball
  • 1 whole bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 0.5 whole onion, cut into half moons
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 slice provolone or mozzarella
  • hoagie roll or crusty bread (optional)

Equipment

sheet panparchment paper

Tips

  • Spoon sauce over the meatballs rather than onto the pan to prevent burning.
  • Peppers release liquid; the 10-minute head start helps it cook off.
  • Serve on a roll or eat with a fork.
