Directions

  1. 1Place steak, halved onion, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, rosemary, olive oil, and salt into a wide-mouth mason jar.
  2. 2Seal the jar with the lid and shake it to combine the ingredients.
  3. 3Place a towel inside a large pot, set the mason jar on top of the towel, and fill the pot with water until the jar is completely covered.
  4. 4Cover the pot and let the contents simmer for 50 to 60 minutes.

  • steak, filet
  • 1/2 whole onion
  • cherry tomato, halved
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • olive oil
  • salt

Tips

  • You can use any kind of steak.
  • If you want to avoid medium-well doneness, simmer for 50 minutes to an hour rather than over an hour.
