Air Fryer Garlic Bread

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. 2Slice your loaf of Italian bread in half, then slice down the side of each half to open up the bread to expose the center, resulting in four equally sized pieces.
  3. 3Mix the softened butter, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a small bowl until fully combined.
  4. 4Divide the butter mixture evenly between each piece of bread and spread it over the entire surface.
  5. 5Place two of the pieces of the buttered loaf into the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook.
  6. 6Repeat with the remaining two pieces.
  7. 7Remove from the air fryer and slice each loaf into 4 pieces, making a total of 8 slices for a half loaf or 16 slices for a full loaf.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz italian or french bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

Tips

  • Minced garlic in a jar and dried parsley can be used instead of fresh; reduce the proportions if using these versions as they are stronger.
  • Any loaf of Italian, French, or ciabatta bread works. If the loaf is larger than 8 ounces, double the butter mixture.
  • Add shredded mozzarella cheese to the top of the bread in the last 1-2 minutes of cooking if desired.
  • Use a sharp serrated knife for slicing the bread.
  • Use a fork or small plastic spatula to mash and blend the butter mixture ingredients.
  • Check the air fryer manual for specific time guidelines, as baking time and temperatures vary by model.
