Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients: 4 peaches; 1 cup sugar; 1 cup water; 3 tea bags; 1 cup sugar; ice; filtered water

Directions

1Rinse off four peaches.
2Cut three of the peaches into pieces.
3Put the cut peaches in a pot.
4Add one cup of sugar to the pot.
5Add one cup of water to the pot.
6Turn the heat on medium and bring the mixture to a boil.
7After boiling for about 20 minutes, remove from heat.
8Mash the peaches down to enhance the flavor.
9Set the pot aside and let it cool off.
10Put a pot of water on and bring it to a boil.
11Once the water starts boiling, remove it from heat.
12Add three tea bags.
13Cover with a lid and let it steep for about 20 minutes.
14Put one cup of sugar in a pitcher.
15Fill the pitcher three-fourths full with ice.
16Pour the hot tea into the pitcher of ice.
17Put a strainer over the pitcher.
18Add the cooled peach syrup into the strainer, letting the liquid pass through into the pitcher.
19Add filtered water to the pitcher.
20Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
21Cut the fourth peach into chunks.
22Put ice in a glass.
23Add the peach chunks to the glass.
24Stir in the cooked, cool peaches into the pitcher of tea.
