Garlic Parmesan Beef & Bowtie Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. 2Once the pasta is done, strain it.
  3. 3Return the strained pasta to the pot and set it aside.
  4. 4While the pasta is cooking, add cottage cheese, shredded parmesan, and a quarter cup of water or milk into a blender or food processor.
  5. 5Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  6. 6Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. 7Add the ground beef to the skillet.
  8. 8Cook the ground beef until no longer pink, breaking it up in the process.
  9. 9Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the cooked ground beef.
  10. 10Cook the tomatoes with the beef for about 5 minutes, or until the tomatoes start to wilt.
  11. 11Add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and oregano to the skillet.
  12. 12Mix the spices with the beef and tomatoes and cook for 30 seconds.
  13. 13Add the minced garlic to the skillet.
  14. 14Mix the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  15. 15Reduce the heat to low.
  16. 16Pour the blended cheese sauce into the skillet with the beef and tomatoes.
  17. 17Mix all ingredients together and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  18. 18Pour the sauce mixture into the pot with the cooked pasta.
  19. 19Mix the pasta and sauce well.
  20. 20Taste the dish and add salt and pepper to preference.
  21. 21Once everything is done, portion out the meals into meal containers.
