Creamy Beef Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Add olive oil to a Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. 2Add diced yellow onion, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and a big pinch of salt. Cook until tender for 6-8 minutes.
  3. 3Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4Add ground beef, a big pinch of salt, a big pinch of pepper, and paprika. Break up the beef and brown it.
  5. 5Make room in the middle of the pan and add a big squeeze of tomato paste, cooking it for a few minutes.
  6. 6Bring all the ingredients together by mixing them.
  7. 7Add beef broth and heavy cream, then bring to a low boil.
  8. 8Add pasta shells, lower the heat to a simmer, and cook until tender for 15-20 minutes (16 minutes seems perfect).
  9. 9Add sharp cheddar cheese and mix it in.
  10. 10Taste the pasta and season with more salt and pepper as needed.
  11. 11Plate the creamy beef pasta and garnish with chives.

  • 5 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Chives
  • Olive Oil

Tips
