Directions
- 1Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 3Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice.
- 4Gradually add flour, baking powder and salt, mixing until just combined.
- 5Pour batter into a prepared baking pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6Let cool completely before cutting and glazing.
