Spicy McChicken

Directions

  1. 1Grab chicken mince or ground chicken.
  2. 2Add 2 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tbsp chilli powder, and 1 tsp cayenne pepper to the chicken mince.
  3. 3Mix all the ingredients together.
  4. 4Form three even patties (150g each) with wet hands.
  5. 5Place the patties on baking paper.
  6. 6Place the patties in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  7. 7On a plate, add 40g breadcrumbs, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp paprika, and a dash of cayenne pepper (optional).
  8. 8Mix the breadcrumbs and seasonings together.
  9. 9Take the patties out of the freezer and coat them evenly in the breadcrumbs.
  10. 10Spray the coated patties with light cooking oil spray.
  11. 11Air fry at 190 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes or bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15-18 minutes.
  12. 12While the chicken is baking, mix together 45g light/fat-free mayonnaise, 2g mustard, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder for the sauce.
  13. 13Grab your toasted Aldi brioche buns.
  14. 14Add the chicken patty and lettuce to the bottom bun.
  15. 15Spread 16g of the McChicken sauce on the top bun.
  16. 16Assemble the burger by placing the top bun on the lettuce and chicken patty.

  • 75 g Light / Fat Free Mayonnaise
  • 3.33 g Mustard
  • 0.83 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1.67 Toasted Aldi Brioche Bun
  • 1.67 Chicken Patty
  • Lettuce
  • 26.67 g Sauce

Tips
