Directions

  1. 1Remove the excess of fat from the pork skin.
  2. 2Cut the skin into pieces to the desired size.
  3. 3Cook the pieces of skin in a pot with water, garlic, thyme and oregano.
  4. 4Check if the skin is cooked by inserting a fork; it should go in easily.
  5. 5Remove the skin from the pot and let it drain.
  6. 6Add salt, ground pepper and lemon to taste.
  7. 7Place the skin pieces on an oven tray.
  8. 8Put the tray in the oven at 160-170°C for 2 hours, to dehydrate.
  9. 9In a pan, add oil and wait until it's hot.
  10. 10Place the skin pieces to fry and wait until they inflate.
  11. 11Once they are golden, remove and place them on a paper towel.

Tips
