Directions

  1. 1Brown and drain 3 pounds of 80/20 ground beef in a cooking pot.
  2. 2Add 1 pound of spicy breakfast sausage to the browned ground beef. Do not drain the sausage.
  3. 3While the sausage is cooking, add 6 ounces of tomato paste to the pot.
  4. 4Once the sausage is cooked through, add 1 large chopped onion to the pot.
  5. 5Add 2 large fresh jalapeños to the pot.
  6. 6Add 4 ounces of Hatch green chili to the pot.
  7. 7Add 2 tablespoons of freshly spooned garlic to the pot.
  8. 8Add 3 ounces of William’s original chili seasoning to the pot.
  9. 9Add 44 ounces of diced tomatoes to the pot.
  10. 10Add 44 ounces of tomato sauce to the pot.
  11. 11Stir all ingredients together really well and bring to a simmer. Let it simmer with the lid on for 1 hour.
  12. 12After 1 hour, add three 15.5-ounce cans of Bush’s Chili Magic Campfire Style beans to the pot.
  13. 13Stir the beans into the chili, put the lid back on, and let it simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
  14. 14Once finished cooking, serve the chili and add a splash of Pepperbellypete’s Zippy-Zap premium pepper sauce.
