Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Fried Rice

Directions

  1. 1Add salt reduced soy sauce to your chicken with garlic, black pepper, and onion powder, then mix it well.
  2. 2Add the chicken to a ziplock bag with some potato starch and mix it well until the chicken is fully coated.
  3. 3Spray the chicken with light cooking oil and air fry with the settings on screen until golden and crispy.
  4. 4To a pan on medium heat, add frozen mixed vegetables, followed by some mixed eggs.
  5. 5Let the vegetables and eggs cook through and mix them well.
  6. 6Add the white part of the spring onion, followed by day old cooked white rice.
  7. 7Add a little bit of soy sauce, mix well, then add the green part of the spring onion and mix well to combine.
  8. 8For the honey garlic sauce, to a pan on medium heat, add garlic, equal parts water and soy sauce, reduced sugar ketchup, rice vinegar, and cornflour mixed with water to help it thicken.
  9. 9Take the sauce off the heat, add honey and mix once more.
  10. 10Now coat the chicken in the sauce.
  11. 11Divide everything into seven equal servings and enjoy.

  • 1.05 kg Diced Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 35 ml Salt Reduced Soy Sauce
  • 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 0.5 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 100 g Potato Starch
  • 500 g Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200 g Egg Whites
  • 30 g Spring Onion/Scallions (white part only)
  • 980 g Day Old Cooked White Rice
  • 40 ml Salt Reduced Soy Sauce
  • 20 g Spring Onion/Scallions (green part only)
  • 5 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 60 ml Salt Reduced Soy Sauce
  • 60 ml Water
  • 100 g Reduced Sugar Ketchup
  • 25 ml Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Cornflour
  • 80 ml Water
  • 80 g Honey
