Meal Prep Mongolian Beef Noodles

Directions

  1. 1Slice beef steak into thin strips. Add baking soda, salt, pepper, cornflour and a drizzle of sesame oil. Ensure it's well coated.
  2. 2In a separate jug, add oyster sauce, soy sauce, mirin, brown stevia and cornflour mixed with water. Mix well.
  3. 3Cook the beef until golden and crispy.
  4. 4In the same pan, add ginger, garlic, white and green onions and stir on a medium heat until nice and soft.
  5. 5Add sliced mushrooms with a dash of water and cook them through.
  6. 6Add the cooked beef back in with the Mongolian sauce and noodles of your choice. Coat everything in the sauce.
  7. 7Add green onions on top.
  8. 8Box it all up into four equal servings.

  • 25 g cornflour
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 2 tbsp brown stevia
  • 5 g cornflour mixed with water
  • 10 g ginger
  • 10 g minced garlic
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 0.3 cup green onion
  • 120 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 600 g udon noodles or protein noodles
