1In a large pot, add two cups of butter and two cups of packed dark brown sugar.
2Melt the butter and sugar and bring it to a boil.
3Take the mixture off the heat and add two teaspoons of vanilla and two teaspoons of cinnamon, then mix it all up.
4Add in two bags of oyster crackers and mix until they are coated.
5Spread the mixture evenly onto a foil-lined baking sheet.
6Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
7While the crackers are in the oven, make the topping by mixing about a cup of sugar, two teaspoons of cinnamon, and about a teaspoon of salt together.
8Let the baked crackers cool off for about five minutes.
9Transfer the crackers to a large bowl while still warm (but not hot).
10Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mix over the crackers and toss until every piece is coated.

Tips
Make sure your whole pan is lined with tin foil because the mixture is hard to scrape off a pan.
Let crackers cool for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a bowl and tossing with the cinnamon sugar mix.
Mixing the crackers in a bowl with the cinnamon sugar mix helps prevent them from sticking to each other.
