Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

Directions

  1. 1Zest one lemon, but you'll need the juice of two lemons for about 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon zest.
  2. 2Add the lemon zest, lemon juice and 1 cup of granulated sugar to a large bowl and mix.
  3. 3Then add two bricks of softened cream cheese and mix.
  4. 4Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of a 9x13 grease baking dish.
  5. 5Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough.
  6. 6Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  7. 7Pour 4 tablespoons of unsalted melted butter over the top of the dough and spread it evenly using a pastry brush.
  8. 8Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sugar over the top.
  9. 9Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
