Directions

  1. 1Start with olive oil, onions, red bell peppers, and minced garlic.
  2. 2Cook until soft.
  3. 3Make space in the pan and add lean ground beef.
  4. 4Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder.
  5. 5Cook until the beef is brown.
  6. 6Add tomato sauce and any broth or water.
  7. 7Mix in some dry macaroni.
  8. 8Cover it on low heat for 20 minutes.
  9. 9Add some spinach and mix well.
  10. 10Enjoy.

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup broth or water
  • 1 heaping cup dry macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 cup spinach

Tips

  • Add an extra 1/2 cup of broth or tomato sauce if your mix seems a bit too dry after simmering.
  • If you use water instead of broth, you may need to add more salt to taste.
  • You can substitute in any veggies of your choice; zucchini and corn also work great.
  • For topping ideas, you can use chili flakes and grated parmesan for an extra flavor kick.
