Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. 2Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. 3Press half inch thick premade chocolate chip cookie dough into the prepared pan.
  4. 4In a bowl, mix 1 block of softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and a dash of vanilla until well combined.
  5. 5Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the cookie dough in the pan.
  6. 6Flatten small pieces of the remaining cookie dough and place them on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  7. 7Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  8. 8Let cool completely then refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
