Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Wash and cut the strawberries.
  2. 2Combine strawberries, lemon juice, honey, and optional elderberry syrup in a blender and process until smooth.
  3. 3Add agar powder to the mixture, using 1 tablespoon for every cup of mixture.
  4. 4Place mixture on medium-high heat and constantly stir for 2 minutes until fully incorporated and free of clumps.
  5. 5Lower the heat and continue stirring for another 2 minutes.
  6. 6Remove from heat and stir while cooling to prevent it from setting hard.
  7. 7Use a dropper or syringe to fill gummy molds with the mixture.
  8. 8Place in the fridge to set for at least 4 hours.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup strawberries
  • 1 whole lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp elderberry syrup (optional)
  • 1 tbsp agar powder

Equipment

Tips

  • You can use other fruits like watermelon or green apple.
  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup as long as it is a natural sweetener.
  • If you do not have a food processor, a blender works fine.
  • Stir the mixture while cooling to prevent it from hardening prematurely.
  • Overnight setting in the fridge provides the best results.
