Directions
- 1Butter the baking dish.
- 2Melt 1 1/2 sticks of butter in a bowl.
- 3Add brown sugar to the melted butter and mix it up really good.
- 4Pour the brown sugar and butter mixture into the buttered baking dish.
- 5Arrange pineapple slices over the brown sugar mixture.
- 6Arrange maraschino cherries in the center of each pineapple slice and around them.
- 7In a separate bowl, combine Duncan Hines Pineapple Supreme cake mix, Jell-O Instant Vanilla Pudding mix, 4 large eggs, and 1 cup total of cherry and pineapple juices.
- 8Add oil to the cake batter.
- 9Mix on medium for 2 minutes.
- 10Optionally, add a few walnuts to the batter if feeling generous.
- 11Pour the batter evenly over the pineapple and cherry arrangement in the baking dish.
- 12Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 60-70 minutes.
- 13Serve warm or cold, even for breakfast.
