Pour the milk into a saucepan and turn on the heat to medium.

Cook the milk at a gentle simmer for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Let the milk cool down to around 55 degrees Celsius.

Add yogurt to the milk.

Mix well.

Pour the warm milk into jars.

Cover the jars and keep them warm under a blanket or thick sweater.

Keep warm for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Refrigerate the yogurt and store it for up to 2 weeks.

Tips
For thicker yogurt, cook the milk for at least 20 minutes.
Ensure the milk cools down to around 55 degrees Celsius before adding the yogurt.
Keep the mixture warm for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow fermentation.
For better heat maintenance, add a jar of hot water under the cover.
