Directions
1
Add half a gallon of milk to a large saucepan.
2
Bring your milk to a boil over a medium-high heat.
3
Once the milk starts to boil, add in one third cup of white vinegar and mix it in.
4
Turn off the heat. You can tell that it instantly starts to separate the whey from the curd.
5
Mix this up for 30 seconds.
6
After 30 seconds of mixing, add your lid and just allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
7
After 30 minutes of sitting, you can see that the curd and the whey has completely separated.
8
Strain the whey from the curd.
9
Rinse it off with cold water.
10
Strain out as much water as you can.
11
Put it in a bowl.
12
Add some salt.
13
Add about a fourth of a cup of heavy whipping cream and mix it.

0.33 cup white vinegar

0.25 cup heavy whipping cream

Tips
If you want it creamier, add more heavy whipping cream. If you like it less creamy, don't add as much.
