Cream Cheese Icing Frosted Oreo Stuffed Red Velvet Cookies

- 1Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- 2Incorporate the eggs, egg yolk, red velvet emulsion, and red gel food coloring into the creamed mixture and mix until smooth.
- 3Add all dry ingredients, including AP flour, cake flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, into the red velvet mixture.

- 5Scoop out 4 oz dough balls and stuff each with an Oreo cookie.
- 6Place the stuffed dough balls on a baking sheet and flatten them before baking.

- 8While the cookies are cooling, whip up the cream cheese frosting by creaming softened cream cheese and unsalted butter.
- 9Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt to the cream cheese and butter mixture, then continue whipping until smooth.
- 10Once the cookies have completely cooled, frost them with the cream cheese icing.
- 11Top the frosted cookies with Oreo pieces.
