Cook your pasta al dente, meaning one to two minutes less than the cook time, as it will continue cooking in the sauce.

Make sure to save some pasta water in case the sauce gets too thick, you can use it to thin it out.

To a pan add butter, all-purpose flour stir until you get a light brown color, one to two minutes on low medium heat.

While whisking, slowly incorporate milk and continue whisking.

Add in heavy whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder.

Let the sauce come cook and thicken.

Once the sauce is completely done and thickened to your liking, add in the chili oil/crisp.

Add in the pasta.

Slowly mix sauce and pasta.

You can cook to bring it all together or just mix and serve.

Serve immediately garnished with parsley and chili oil.

4 oz cream cheese softened
2 cups milk
0.75 cup heavy whipping cream
0.75 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
pinch turmeric
0.25 cup chili crisp or chili oil
Parsley for garnish

Tips
Cook your pasta al dente, one to two minutes less than the cook time.
Save some pasta water in case the sauce gets too thick; you can use it to thin out the sauce.
For color, use a very small pinch of turmeric, otherwise the sauce will be very yellow.
