Directions

  1. 1Start by slicing some steak into thin strips.
  2. 2Tenderize the steak in a baking soda cold water solution.
  3. 3Rinse off the steak completely and marinate with soy sauce, white pepper, salt, cornstarch, and avocado oil.
  4. 4For the yakisoba sauce, combine oyster sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, sugar, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, and some spices.
  5. 5Slice up the cabbage, white onion, green onion, carrots, and mushrooms.
  6. 6Add a good amount of oil to a large pan and fry up the beef.
  7. 7Set the beef aside.
  8. 8Go in with the mushrooms and stir-fry until they take on some color.
  9. 9Do the same with the chopped-up veggies.
  10. 10Boil and drain your noodles.
  11. 11Fry the noodles up with a good amount of oil, leaving them undisturbed for about a minute or so so that they actually fry up on the bottom.
  12. 12Add everything back to the pan along with the yakisoba sauce, sesame oil, and some browning sauce for a little extra color.
  13. 13Finish it off with sesame seeds, kewpie mayo, and chopped-up seaweed.
