Storing Grape Leaves

Directions

  1. 1Remove the stems of the grape leaves and stack the leaves together.
  2. 2Lay out the nylon wrap.
  3. 3Lay the grape leaves on the wrap with the smooth side facing down.
  4. 4Wrap the grape leaves tightly in the nylon wrap, tucking in the ends to seal.
  5. 5For another method, boil water with sugar and salt.
  6. 6Add the grape leaves and submerge for one minute.
  7. 7Remove from the water and let cool completely.
  8. 8Lay out the nylon wrap.
  9. 9Lay the grape leaves on the wrap with the smooth side facing down.
  10. 10Wrap the grape leaves tightly in the nylon wrap, tucking in the ends to seal.
  11. 11For another method, add grape leaves to a sterilized glass jar.
  12. 12Press leaves down firmly to remove air and fill completely.
  13. 13Use a tight-fitting lid.
