Directions

  1. 1Combine eggs, vanilla, oil, milk, and sour cream in a bowl and mix well.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3Gently fold in about a cup and a half of chocolate chips into the batter, being careful not to overmix.
  4. 4Preheat oven to 425°F.
  5. 5Line a muffin tray with large muffin liners.
  6. 6Fill each muffin liner about three quarters full with batter.
  7. 7Bake at 425°F for 6 minutes.
  8. 8Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 14 to 15 minutes, or 17-18 minutes for larger muffins.
