Garlic Parmesan Steak Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Start cooking the pasta in heavily salted water, once done set aside but keep some of the pasta water to add to the sauce later.
  2. 2Whilst the pasta is cooking, sear your steak to your preferred doneness and set aside to let rest.
  3. 3On medium to low heat, melt your butter and sauté your shallots for around 2 minutes before adding in all your minced garlic.
  4. 4Let this sauté and combine for another minute or two before adding in the cream, then pasta water, then seasonings.
  5. 5Simmer for a few minutes to let it all combine before adding in your cooked pasta.
  6. 6Serve and add your steak on top, garnishing with extra Parmesan and parsley to preference.

  • 1 ribeye steak

  • thyme (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 g rigatoni pasta
  • 350 ml double cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 whole garlic clove
  • 1.5 cup parmesan
  • 1 whole shallot
  • 1.5 tbsp oregano
  • 1.5 tbsp mixed herbs
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • pasta water (optional)
  • parsley (optional)
