Directions

1Press a block of extra firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove extra moisture.
2Tear the tofu into bite-sized chunks.
3Toss tofu with oil, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt.
4Toss tofu with corn starch or potato starch until fully coated.
5Air fry the tofu at 400° for about 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
6While tofu is cooking, make some steamed rice.
7For the orange sauce, mince garlic and ginger and slice a few scallions.
8Mix half a cup of orange juice with soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, some corn starch, and orange zest.
9To a cold pan, add a drizzle of oil, optional red pepper flakes, and your minced aromatics.
10Let them heat up together to prevent the garlic from burning.
