Serves 4

Directions

  1. 1Mash bananas in a bowl until they reach a smooth, baby-food consistency.
  2. 2Mix in the PB2 powder.
  3. 3Add cocoa powder and mix until the mixture is thick and chocolatey.
  4. 4Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a plate.
  5. 5Freeze the balls for 10 to 15 minutes to firm them up.
  6. 6Melt the chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl set over a kettle.
  7. 7Smother the frozen cake pops in melted chocolate and transfer to parchment paper to set.
  8. 8Sprinkle with salt immediately.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole ripe banana
  • a generous amount PB2 peanut powder
  • a generous amount cocoa powder
  • a generous amount vegan chocolate chips
  • a pinch kosher salt (optional)

Equipment

bowlspoonplatefreezerkettleparchment paper

Tips

  • Use nice and ripe bananas to ensure the recipe is super sweet.
  • Place the chocolate-covered cake pops on parchment paper so they do not stick to the bowl while setting.
  • The chocolate coating hardens instantly, so sprinkle the salt on immediately.
