Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in the stand mixer bowl.
Mix briefly to combine and set a timer for 5 minutes to let the yeast activate.
After 5 minutes, ensure the yeast is active by checking for a foamy, bubbly layer on top.
Add melted butter, warmed milk, and bread flour to the yeast mixture.
Add salt to the mixture.
Mix the ingredients until they form a sticky mess, then switch to a dough hook.
Knead the dough for 5 to 7 minutes until it forms a solid dough ball.
Grease a large bowl (e.g., Pyrex 404) with avocado oil.
Place the dough into the greased bowl and spray the top of the dough to prevent sticking.
Cover the bowl with a bowl cover and place it in a warm spot (like on a stovetop with the oven on, or in a microwave with the light on) for about an hour, until it doubles in size.
After about an hour and a half, flour your surface with all-purpose flour.
Remove the dough from the bowl and gently stretch it into a rectangle shape.
Fold and roll the dough to shape it into a loaf.
Grease a loaf pan with avocado oil using an oil spritzer.
Place the shaped dough into the greased loaf pan.
Drape a towel over the loaf pan and let it rest on the stovetop for about 45 minutes to an hour, until it doubles in size and looks like a loaf of bread.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
At the 15-minute mark, turn the loaf around in the oven to ensure even browning.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan before cutting.
Once completely cool, slice the bread with a bread knife.
Store the cooled bread by placing one Ziploc bag over one end and another Ziploc bag over the other end, without sealing them, to keep it fresh.

Tips
Do not use water that is too hot as it will kill the yeast.
Let the bread cool completely to room temperature before cutting to keep it fluffy.
Store bread in two overlapping Ziploc bags, unsealed, to keep it squishy and prevent mold.
This dough can also be used to make four hoagie rolls or four hamburger buns.
