Green Beans and Chicken Stir Fry

Directions

  1. 1Take your green beans and always trim off the stem at the top.
  2. 2If they're really long, split them in half.
  3. 3Finely mince a ton of garlic.
  4. 4To the garlic, add a pinch of salt.
  5. 5Add a pinch of sugar.
  6. 6Add a pinch of chicken bouillon.
  7. 7Mix it up and set it aside.
  8. 8Thinly slice some chicken thigh against the grain.
  9. 9Marinate the chicken with cornstarch.
  10. 10Add a little baking soda.
  11. 11Add soy sauce.
  12. 12Add a little dark soy sauce for color.
  13. 13Add oyster sauce.
  14. 14Add sugar.
  15. 15Add as much white pepper as you want, or black pepper.
  16. 16Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
  17. 17Heat enough oil in your wok to shallow fry.
  18. 18Add the green beans to the hot oil.
  19. 19Fry the green beans for about 30 seconds, then strain them out.
  20. 20Leave about one to two tablespoons of oil in the wok and add the chicken.
  21. 21Once the chicken is cooked through, push it all off to the side.
  22. 22Then add in the garlic.
  23. 23Cook the garlic for about 30 seconds.
  24. 24Then add in all of the green beans.
  25. 25Toss everything together.
  26. 26Serve with steamed rice.

Tips

  • The curly part of the green beans is edible.
  • You can also add sesame oil to the chicken marinade.
  • You can either steam or fry the green beans.
