Add oil to a pan.

Brown off about half a pound of bacon.

Add three pounds of mild Italian sausage.

Let the sausage brown off.

Add garlic and let it soften up.

Add white onions and let them soften up.

Season with black pepper, salt, and a little handful of red chili flakes for some spice.

Add red potatoes, about a medium dice.

Throw in about a gallon of chicken stock and let it simmer for about 15 minutes to let the potatoes start cooking.

Put in kale and finish simmering until the potatoes are tender and the kale is broken down.

Add heavy cream. Do not thicken the soup, keep it a nice creamy chicken broth.

Serve in a bowl.

Tips
We are not going to thicken this soup up, we just want it to be a nice creamy chicken broth.
This was absolutely perfect for the fall weather outside.
