Cheddar bay biscuit Chicken pot pie

Directions

  1. 1Place chicken thighs and tenders in a bowl, season with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and paprika, and mix well.
  2. 2Cook the chicken in a pan with olive oil and butter until done, chop into small pieces, and set aside.
  3. 3Add butter, diced yellow onion, diced carrots, diced celery, and minced garlic to the same pan and cook until soft.
  4. 4Stir in flour, followed by chicken broth, heavy cream, and cooked peas, and mix until combined.
  5. 5Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to the sauce, then fold the cooked chicken back into the mixture.
  6. 6In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cubed cold butter, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, and salt.
  7. 7Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and buttermilk to form the biscuit dough.
  8. 8Scoop the chicken mixture into pie dishes and top with scoops of the biscuit dough.
