Directions
- 1In a mortar and pestle, grind together sugar, salep powder, and mastic.
- 2Pour milk into a pot.
- 3Add cinnamon sticks.
- 4Add the sugar and spice mixture into the milk.
- 5Stir well until combined.
- 6Put on medium to high heat and bring to a boil, stirring continuously until it thickens.
- 7Remove cinnamon sticks.
- 8Pour the mixture into a glass or cup.
- 9Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top.
