Directions

  1. 1Chop onions, mince garlic, and slice red Filipino hot dogs.
  2. 2Sauté the chopped onions with olive oil until translucent.
  3. 3Add minced garlic to the onions and sauté for a little bit.
  4. 4Add ground beef and ground pork to the pot.
  5. 5Cook down the minced meat until all the water evaporates and the meat starts to sizzle.
  6. 6Add the sliced red Filipino hot dogs and tomato paste.
  7. 7Cook the tomato paste out for a few minutes.
  8. 8Add crushed tomatoes, banana ketchup, soy sauce, and fish sauce.
  9. 9Let the sauce simmer for 45 minutes.
  10. 10Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  11. 11Add condensed milk for sweetness and stir.
  12. 12Overcook the spaghetti noodles.
  13. 13Serve the overcooked spaghetti noodles on a plate.
  14. 14Top the spaghetti with the sauce.
  15. 15Garnish with grated processed cheese.

Tips

  • Filipino spaghetti has to be sweet.
