Mississippi Pork Chops

Directions

  1. 1Throw bone-in thick cut pork chops into your crock pot, spreading them out evenly across the bottom.
  2. 2Sprinkle a packet of au jus on top of the pork chops.
  3. 3Sprinkle a packet of ranch dressing on top.
  4. 4Drop a stick of unsalted butter on the pork chops.
  5. 5Add as many pepperoncinis as desired and a little bit of their juice.
  6. 6Put the lid on the crock pot.
  7. 7Set the crock pot to low for 2 to 3 hours.
  8. 8After 2 hours, take the lid off and check if the pork chops pull apart easily with a fork or are done according to a meat thermometer.
  9. 9Serve the pork chop on a plate with mashed potatoes.
  10. 10Optionally, add gravy made from the sauce, but be aware it might be too salty.
