Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice. Let sit 20–30 minutes until juicy and syrupy.
  2. 2In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  3. 3Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
  4. 4Gently fold in whipped cream until thick, light, and cloud-like.
  5. 5In a 9×13 dish, layer half of the angel food cake cubes.
  6. 6Spoon half of the strawberries and juices over the cake.
  7. 7Spread half of the cream mixture evenly on top.
  8. 8Repeat layers: cake, strawberries, then finish with the remaining cream.
  9. 9Spoon extra strawberry slices and syrup over the top for that signature Strawberry Heaven look.
  10. 10Chill at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) so the layers set beautifully.
  11. 11Serve cold with extra strawberries on top.
