Directions
- 1In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice. Let sit 20–30 minutes until juicy and syrupy.
- 2In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- 3Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
- 4Gently fold in whipped cream until thick, light, and cloud-like.
- 5In a 9×13 dish, layer half of the angel food cake cubes.
- 6Spoon half of the strawberries and juices over the cake.
- 7Spread half of the cream mixture evenly on top.
- 8Repeat layers: cake, strawberries, then finish with the remaining cream.
- 9Spoon extra strawberry slices and syrup over the top for that signature Strawberry Heaven look.
- 10Chill at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) so the layers set beautifully.
- 11Serve cold with extra strawberries on top.
