1Add 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1/3 cup of vinegar, 1/4 cup of water, 1/3 cup of sugar or honey, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to a big saucepan.
2Bring the mixture to a boil.
3Let it simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes until the water starts to evaporate and the mixture becomes thick and reduced by about half.
4Add the thickened sauce to a blender or use an immersion blender to blend until smooth.
5Pour the homemade ketchup into a mason jar.
6Store the ketchup in the fridge for about a week.
