Hawaiian Meatloaf

Directions

  1. 1Add 2 pounds of ground beef pork blend to a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Dice half of a Maui onion (or any sweet onion) and add it to the bowl.
  3. 3Add a cup of panko breadcrumbs to the bowl.
  4. 4Add 2 tablespoons of coco aminos to the bowl.
  5. 5Add half a cup of Heinz chili sauce to the bowl.
  6. 6Add two lightly beaten eggs to the bowl.
  7. 7Pour half a cup of whole milk into the bowl.
  8. 8Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and half a teaspoon of black pepper to the bowl.
  9. 9Add a quarter cup of green onions to the bowl.
  10. 10Use your hands (wearing gloves) to mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  11. 11Form the meat mixture into four individual loaves.
  12. 12Place the loaves on a baking sheet.
  13. 13For the glaze, combine half a cup of drained crushed pineapple in a measuring cup.
  14. 14Add a quarter cup of chili sauce to the measuring cup.
  15. 15Add a quarter cup of barbecue sauce to the measuring cup.
  16. 16Whisk the glaze ingredients together until combined.
  17. 17Brush the glaze onto the top of each meatloaf.
  18. 18Bake the meatloaves in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 45 minutes, or until cooked through.
  19. 19Serve the Hawaiian meatloaf on a bed of rice.
  20. 20Top with more green onions.
  21. 21Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
