Honey BBQ Tenders

Directions

  1. 1Hit your tenders with a handful of flour.
  2. 2Add seasoning: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika and cayenne pepper.
  3. 3Mix it all up and allow the tenders to dry out.
  4. 4Add cornstarch and baking powder to the flour mixture.
  5. 5Add the same seasoning used before to the cornstarch and baking powder mixture.
  6. 6Transfer one-third of that mixture into another bowl.
  7. 7Crack in some type of club soda.
  8. 8It should resemble a really thin pancake batter consistency.
  9. 9Dip the dry tender into the wet batter, then into the dry, one last time into the wet, and then finish into the dry.
  10. 10To make the honey barbecue sauce, you'll need some ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and honey.
  11. 11Add some cold butter to make it smooth.
  12. 12Drop the tenders into oil set at 350°F.
  13. 13After five to six minutes allow them to rest, then back in for one minute to get nice and golden.
  14. 14Dip in Ranch.

  • 1 handful flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch onion powder
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1 can club soda
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 cubes butter
  • 1 serving ranch
