Blueberry Crumble

Directions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Add two pints of washed blueberries into an 8x8 pan.
  3. 3Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour over the blueberries.
  4. 4Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over the blueberries.
  5. 5Add a pinch of salt to the blueberries.
  6. 6Squeeze approximately 1 tablespoon of lemon juice over the blueberries.
  7. 7Mix the blueberry base until all blueberries have a nice shiny coating.
  8. 8For the topping, combine 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl.
  9. 9Add 3/4 cup of old-fashioned oats to the bowl.
  10. 10Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of regular sugar to the bowl.
  11. 11Add one full stick of melted butter to the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  12. 12Mix the topping ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  13. 13Use your hands to break up the sugar and work it into the crumb mixture.
  14. 14Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the blueberry base in the pan.
  15. 15Add a little pinch of salt on top of the crumb topping before baking.
  16. 16Place the pan in the center rack of the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
  17. 17Check after 25 minutes; the crumble is done when the blueberry is bubbling up through the crumb topping.
  18. 18Let the crumble cool for 10 minutes.
  19. 19Serve the blueberry crumble on a plate.
  20. 20Top with homemade whipped cream.
