Honey BBQ Chicken Tenders

Directions

  1. 1Hit your tenders with a handful of flour.
  2. 2Add seasoning: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. 3Mix it all up and let the tenders dry out.
  4. 4Add corn starch and baking powder to the seasoned flour.
  5. 5Transfer one-third of the mixture to another bowl.
  6. 6Crack in some type of club soda.
  7. 7It should resemble a really thin pancake batter consistency.
  8. 8Dip the dry tenders into the wet batter, then into the dry, one last time into the wet, and then finish into the dry.
  9. 9To make the honey barbecue, you'll need some ketchup and a healthy amount of brown sugar.
  10. 10Add apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.
  11. 11Add a healthy amount of your favorite hot sauce.
  12. 12Add honey.
  13. 13Add cubes of cold butter to make it nice and smooth.
  14. 14Drop them into oil set at 350. After five or six minutes, allow them to rest, and then back in for one minute to get nice and golden.

  • 1 portion honey
  • 4 cubes butter
  • 1 portion ranch
