Directions

  1. 1Drop two potatoes onto your cutting board and grab a sharp knife.
  2. 2Cut each potato in half lengthwise.
  3. 3Cut a cross-hatch pattern into the cut side of each potato half.
  4. 4Grab some oil (avocado or olive) and brush it onto both sides of your potato halves.
  5. 5Season both sides of the potato halves with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning (or ranch cheesening if available).
  6. 6Set the seasoned potatoes aside.
  7. 7Grab a sheet pan and four tablespoons of butter (or a tablespoon for every half of a potato).
  8. 8Place the butter on the pan.
  9. 9Add some shredded parmesan cheese on top of the butter, spreading it out a little.
  10. 10Place your potato halves face down on top of each pile of butter and parmesan.
  11. 11Throw the sheet pan into the oven at 450 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  12. 12Let the baked potatoes cool off for a minute before getting them off the baking sheet.
  13. 13Add toppings starting with sour cream.
  14. 14Add fresh grated cheddar cheese.
  15. 15Add fresh cooked bacon crumbles.
  16. 16Sprinkle green onions on top for color.
