Directions

Brown the ground beef in a pan.

Once the ground beef is cooked, add a jar of marinara sauce to the pan.

Add a splash of water to the marinara sauce jar, shake it, and pour it into the pan.

Bring the sauce and beef mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.

Once simmering, add a block of cream cheese to the pan.

Continue mixing until the cream cheese is mostly melted and incorporated into the sauce.

Add a bag of refrigerated tortellini to the pan.

Stir the tortellini into the sauce mixture.

Turn the heat down to medium-low.

Cover the pan with a lid and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, remove the lid and stir the tortellini mixture well.

Top the dish with shredded cheese, spreading it out evenly.

Bake the dish in the oven for 15 minutes.

Broil the dish for about 2 more minutes at the end to brown the cheese.

shredded Italian cheese blend

Tips
Use refrigerated tortellini so you don't have to boil it first.
Broil the dish for a couple of minutes at the end for extra browning on the cheese.
