Directions

  1. 1Place a pot on medium-low heat.
  2. 2Add one cup of coconut sugar to the pot.
  3. 3Once the sugar is sticky, add half a cup of water.
  4. 4Increase the heat to make it a little hotter.
  5. 5Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  6. 6Once it starts to simmer, add three small cinnamon sticks.
  7. 7Add some lemon skin.
  8. 8Add some lime skin.
  9. 9Add some orange skin.
  10. 10Add a dash of coriander.
  11. 11Add a little bit of nutmeg.
  12. 12Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until it gets thick and all the flavors combine.
  13. 13After 10 minutes, take it off the heat.
  14. 14Strain the mixture into a glass jar.
  15. 15Add one teaspoon of vanilla to the strained syrup.
  16. 16Add half a teaspoon of bitters to the syrup.
  17. 17Let the syrup cool for about 30 minutes.
  18. 18To serve, add ice to a glass.
  19. 19Pour one part of the cooled syrup into the glass.
  20. 20Add three parts sparkling water to the glass.
  21. 21Stir it up and enjoy.
