Directions
1
Distribute four cans of cream of mushroom evenly into loaf tins.
2
Evenly distribute the stew meat into the loaf tins with the cream of mushroom.
3
Distribute two packages of brown gravy mix evenly into two of the loaf tins.
4
Distribute two packages of beefy onion mix evenly into two of the loaf tins.
5
Add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup (or 1/3 cup for a well-rounded number) of water into each tin for moisture.
6
Mix everything together thoroughly to combine the cream of mushroom, stew meat, beefy onion mix, and gravy.
7
Bake in the oven set to 350°F (175°C) until the meat is tender, which is about an hour and a half.
8
After baking, give the mixture one more quick mix.
9
Serve with two scoops of heated mashed potatoes on top of the steak and gravy in each loaf tin.
Ingredients
4 cans cream of mushroom
big pack stew meat
2 packages brown gravy mix
2 packages beefy onion mix
0.33 cup water
mashed potatoes
Equipment
loaf tins
sheet pan
spatula
ice cream scoop
Tips
You can use regular onion soup mix instead of beefy onion mix.
Season to your liking with garlic powder or onion powder.
Adding water ensures more moisture.
Using an ice cream scoop for mashed potatoes is the best way to do it.
