Directions

Add 2 cups of butter to a KitchenAid mixer bowl.

Whip the butter for several minutes until it is fluffy and light.

Add 1/2 cup of cornstarch to the whipped butter.

Add 1 cup of icing sugar.

Gradually add 3 cups of flour to the mixture.

Mix until you have a perfect shortbread dough.

Scoop the dough with a cookie scoop and drop onto baking sheets.

Coat a fork in flour.

Flatten each cookie with the floured fork.

Place a half a cherry on top of each flattened cookie.

Bake in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.

Once baked and cooled, drizzle with melted milk chocolate.
