Directions

  1. 1Combine butter with both sugars and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Whisk until the mixture is nice, soft, and fluffy.
  3. 3Add all of the sifted flour into the mixture.
  4. 4Gently mix the flour into the batter.
  5. 5Add hot water into the baking soda and mix well.
  6. 6Pour the baking soda mixture into the batter and mix until it forms a dough.
  7. 7Add dark chocolate chips (or any other desired add-ins) to the dough.
  8. 8Fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
  9. 9Shape the dough into round balls.
  10. 10Place the shaped dough balls on a baking tray lined with a silicone mat.
  11. 11Freeze the cookie dough balls for 30 minutes.
  12. 12Bake the cookies in the oven at 165 degrees Celsius for about 12 minutes.
